A new calendar for 2022 is available, with completely new beautiful photos from SINAI that I took on a month-long journey at the beginning of 2021. Desert – Red Sea – Mountains. A Dream! Also, for 2022 there will be another four calendars with different themes available. One about the fascinating megacity Istanbul, one with beautiful snow landscapes from Iceland, another one with portraits of women from around the world and the fourth one with a more spiritual theme. The calendars are available in various online stores but can also be ordered via any book store. You can see all of them here.

Einer über die faszinierende Metropole Istanbul, einer mit Schneelandschaften aus Island, einer mit wunderbaren Frauenportraits aus alle Welt und der vierte mit eher spirituellen Bildern. ICELAND: Gullfoss (Golden Waterfall) is an iconic waterfall of Iceland offering a spectacular view of the forces and beauty of untouched nature. Gullfoss is part of the Golden Circle tour, located in South Iceland on the Hvítá (White) river which is fed by Iceland´s second biggest glacier, the Langjökull. The water plummets down 32 meters in two stages into a rugged canyon which walls reach up to 70 meters in height.

Though Geysir itself is rarely active these days, Haukadalur Valley boasts a plethora of hot springs and geysers, including the powerful Strokkur, Smiður and Litli-Strokkur. Strokkur is, arguably, the country’s most famous hot spring, shooting vast jets of boiling water from 20 metres (65 feet) up to 40 metres (130 feet) high. Don’t worry about missing this incredible spectacle of nature, as Strokkur erupts every five to ten minutes.
